El primero de la temporada 2011 / The first of the season 2011

Hace unos meses, a principios de temporada de tunidos, despues de intentar engañar unos peces a Jigging en 80mts sin tener éxito, decidimos alejarnos unas millas de la costa y de esta forma poder ver si veiamos movimientos de los grandes rojos................Como es habitual en mi, no llebava el equipo adecuado para esos peces, pero solo queria saber si se encontraban en las zonas en las que me los habia encontado en anteriores años.

A few months ago, at early season of tuna, after trying to fool a few fishes to Jigging in 80mts without success, we decided to move away a few miles from the coast and in this way, we can see if there was a movements of the big bluefin ..... ........... As usual with me, not wearing the proper equipment for these fish, but just wanted to know if they were in areas that had find it in previous years.

Una vez nos vamos acercando a la zona, la sonda empieza a marcar manchas a 20mts, buena señal, comida, por lo que empiezan a aflorecer los nervios y agudizamos la vista y el oido para poder detectar señales de actividad en superficie.

Pocos minutos despues comenzamos a ver algo de movimiento en la superficie, pero estan muy dispersos y son de pequeño tamaño, no son lo que estabamos esperando encontrarnos. Pero nos venian bien para los equipos que teniamos en la embarcacion ya que estos eran de lubina.

Lo intentamos con Minnows, Paseantes, Jigging, Jigcasting.............Imposible acercarse lo suficiente para presentarles el engaño por lo que decido probar a currican con dos cañas.

Mientras en una monto un minnow, en la otra monto un pequeño jig de 40gr y como no se dejaban acercarse, decido largar los aparejos 100mts

A una velocidad de 7nudos, veo que el minnow concebido para la pesca a spinning de la lubina, trabaja bien sin saltar a superficie mientras que al jig parece que le quema el agua ya que nada mas tocar esta, salta inmediatamente.

Cual es mi sorpresa cuando el carrete comienza a cantar y la caña se dobla como hasta el momento no lo habia hecho.......................Al Jig!!! Le ha entrado al Jig!!! Pero como si pasaba mas tiempo fuera del agua que dentro???????...............................................y comienza la diversion
